A smirking bully, who put an ex-lover through a vile eight-year campaign of harassment, has been given an extended jail sentence.
Jason Malcolm-Randall - who was given a dressing down by a judge for smiling in the dock - had controlled every aspect of his former Swanley partner's life.
Now he has received an immediate jail term of five years and the judge added an extra three years to be served on licence when he is eventually released.
Judge Adele Williams told him: "You are a dangerous young man who has already caused immense harm to your victim.
"You are fixated with her. You subjected her to a catalogue of vile threatening and destructive messages which make disturbing reading."
Maidstone Crown Court heard how the 29-year-old threatened to run her over if she ever became pregnant.
And he also sent her an abusive Christmas Card and bombarded her with hate text messages and telephone calls after the two broke up.
Malcolm-Randall, of West Green, north London, admitted charges of harassment and breaching a restraining order.
Prosecutor Natalie Bird told how Malcolm-Randall used a variety of fake names - including Sherlockist Holmes - to ruin his victim's credit record and then threatened to kill her, her partners and her family.
He then posted an image of her on social media allegedly from her offering sexual services which left the victim in a depressed and suicidal state.
The victim, who lives in Swanley, sat weeping in the public gallery as details of the sustained stalking and harassment were outlined.
As Malcolm-Randall was taken away, the victim looked at the judge and mouthed: "Thank you." before leaving with family members.
Earlier the prosecutor had read out a Victim Impact Statement in which the woman had told that she had been suffering at the hands of Malcolm-Randall "a quarter of my life" leading to depression and panic attacks.
Malcolm-Randall had also threatened to pour acid over her face and firebomb her home if she continued the relationship with one partner.
He had failed to show up in court for an earlier hearing and police put out an alert, he was later given a seven day sentence for breaching his bail.
