A family-run pub has been left disheartened after yobs ruined their outdoor festive display, shorty after a nearby club closed.
The Wig and Gown, in Dartford, was subjected to vandalism as youth's jumped the pub's small surrounding fence and threw decorations, ripped up table cloths, pulled over a Christmas tree, and made a mess of the outside seating area.
CCTV captures the decorations being vandalised
It was caught on CCTV at 3.10am on Friday, December 27, not long after the nearby nightclub, Atik, closed at 3am, after a Boxing Day event.
Pub manager, Yvonne Rickards, 61, said: "We take a lot of time decorating, both inside and outside.
"Next year we were thinking of making a larger outdoor display with a sleigh and everything, now we might not bother."
This hasn't been the first incident to occur outside the pub during the festive season.
Last year, Yvonne was attacked alongside the pub's DJ, in the early hours of Christmas morning, by 12 youths, also on their way home from a club.
That incident was reported to the police, but unfortunately, even with CCTV footage, the attackers were not caught.
Yvonne has not reported the vandalism to the police but hopes by posting the video on the pub's Facebook page, those who did it might be named and shamed.
