Charlton v Crystal Palace
Manager Phil Parkinson believes a Charlton win in Tuesday's South London derby at home to arch-rivals Crystal Palace would provide the catalyst in turning around the club's depressing season.
The Addicks last won a league match on October 7 and with time running out need to piece together an unbeaten run if they are to survive in the Coca-Cola Championship.
"There is no better game to get our supporters back on side than the local derby against Crystal Palace," said Parkinson.
"The match means everything to our fans and if we can pick up a win we would really take off."
Skipper and former Crystal Palace player Mark Hudson is doubtful with an ankle injury sustained in Saturday's much improved performance in the 2-1 FA Cup, fourth round defeat at Sheffield United.
"I didn't realise how bad the knock was until he came off at the end," Parkinson admitted.
"If he misses the game it would be a big blow."
On-loan players Tom Soares, a former Crystal Palace favourite, Matthew Spring and Graeme Murty are back in contention
Therry Racon, who returned to the side as a substitute against Sheffield United following a 13-match absence, could start against Palace.
