Charlton have decided against taking up the option to extend midfielder Tom Soares' loan from Stoke for a further month.
The 22-year-old England Under-21 international returned to the Potteries on Monday having made 11 appearances for the Addicks and scoring one goal in the 2-1 defeat at Bristol City.
