Charlton manager Phil Parkinson has dismissed persistent reports that transfer-listed striker Chris Dickson is poised to join Gillingham.
The 24-year-old became a popular figure at Priestfield after finishing as the club's leading scorer following a period on loan last season.
But Parkinson retorted: "My understanding is that a League 1 club are interested in signing Chris. I would rate his chances of joining Gillingham as zero."
Meanwhile, 18-year-old striker Martyn Waghorn has rejoined Sunderland after starting four games and scoring one goal.
Though his loan agreement expired on Saturday, he returned early owing to a groin injury.
