Johnnie Jackson's late winner gave Charlton a 1-0 victory at Championship leaders Norwich on Tuesday night.

City dominated at Carrow Road but Bob Peeters' side defended superbly before pinching the points through Jackson's deflected strike from distance with four minutes left.

The result extended Charlton's unbeaten start to 10 matches and saw them climb to seventh place.

Centre-halves Tal Ben Haim and Andre Bikey excelled at the back for the visitors as Norwich did everything but score.

Rhoys Wiggins also came to Charlton's rescue with a goalline block from Wes Hoolahan while Norwich were denied a penalty for a handball by Bikey.

Charlton boss Peeters said: "If you play at Norwich, a team that wins four games in a row and one that calls itself one of the favourites to win promotion, then it is a good result to win 1-0.

"If you compare their budget to ours then it already says a lot."
