Dartford boss Tony Burman has blamed 100-goal man Ryan Hayes for turning his hair grey but he wouldn’t change a thing.
Hayes took his Dartford tally into treble figures with a goal in their 1-1 draw against Concord Rangers on Saturday.
The winger was signed by Burman from Slade Green back in 2005 and since then has played a key role in helping them rise up the non-league pyramid.
Burman said: “He joined with Dave Martin and both were excellent signings from our point of view. They took the club forward that’s for sure.
“Ryan’s ability and strength is his crossing and his creative play. He can be frustrating but I have believed in him for the last 10 years and he has sent me grey! But I wouldn’t change it, he has been brilliant for the club and he has been an outstanding signing.
“It is a great achievement. He is a wide player as well and to have scored 100 goals is fantastic and he will get more.
“There have been some important goals in there, a lot of goals that have been very important for us. All goals are important but his goals have changed games, there are a hell of a lot in that 100 which bring back memories for a lot of people.”
