Tonbridge AC opened their Kent Cross-Country League campaign with a dominant display in the senior men's race.

Jamie Goodge led a lockout of the top-five places in 26min36sec over the 8,010m distance at Swanley. Unsurprisingly, Tonbridge took the 12-to-score and four-to-score honours ahead of Medway & Maidstone.

Holly Dixon led a Cambridge Harriers one-two-three in the senior women's racce while Tonbridge won the six-to-score battle, with Cambridge Harriers three-to-score winners.

The under-13 boys took on the 3,100m course with Blackheath & Bromley Harriers' Lucas Elmqvist first back in 11.46. Blackheath & Bromley took the honours in the three-to-score category.

London-based S-Factor Academy enjoyed victory in the under-13 girls' race with Elena Oliphant timing 12.44. Blackheath & Bromley enjoyed an under-13 double in the three-to-score classification.

Medway & Maidstone sealed the first four spots in the under-15 boys' meeting - giving them three-to-score success in the process - with Alex Dack first home in 13.42.

Greenwich Tritons' Emer Tynan set the pace with 15.30 in the under-15 girls' race while Blackheath & Bromley celebrated another three-to-score success.

M&M followed their under-15 boys' win with victory in the under-17 men's race. Held over 4,860m, Hayden Gear made strides in 16.36. Tonbridge AC took the three-to-score plaudits with three top-five finishes.

Blackheath & Bromley's Hannah Clark (19.40) was fastest in the under-17 women's category, with her club side first in the three-to-score results.

In the under-20 men's race, Tom Brash of Blackheath & Bromley led the way with 16.47. Dartford Harriers took the three-to-score victory while the under-20 women's race saw victory for MedwayTri's Katie Painter in 20.51.

The masters men's 70 category went to Blackheath & Bromley's Paul Ross-Davies in 24.38 while Istead & Ifield Harriers' Barbara Ockendon led the masters 65 women home in 28.06.

Round two of the season takes place on Saturday at Somerhill School, Tonbridge.
