Harry Crawford's double helped Dartford make sure they wouldn't be victim of an FA Cup upset.
Two goals inside the first 16 minutes from Crawford set the Vanarama Conference side on their way against Ryman League Division 1 South leaders Burgess Hill.
He netted his first on 10 minutes before doubling the lead six minutes later.
The visitors did pull one back through Darren Budd on 33 minutes, however it all went wrong for Hill just six minutes later when Dartford were awarded a penalty and Toby Pointing was sent off.
Elliot Bradbrook made no mistake from the spot to make it 3-1 and restore Dartford's two-goal advantage before half-time.
No further goals were scored in the second half as Darts made sure of their place in the first rounf draw on Monday night.
