Dartford exited the FA Trophy after losing 3-1 at FC Halifax in their third round replay.

In a repeat of the first tie, FC Halifax raced into a two-goal half-time lead.

Marc Roberts scrambled the ball in from a corner to give the Shaymen the lead before Scott Boden smashed in the second with a clinical finish just before the break.

And the sense of deja vu continued in the second half when Darts pulled one back through striker Andy Pugh.

However, there was to be no fairytale comeback as the home side restored their two-goal advantage thanks to a strike from Steve Williams.
