Dartford have not won at home for a month but they have the perfect opportunity to end that run on Saturday.

They host a Weston-super-Mare side rooted to the foot of Vanarama National League South with just four points.

Since beating Eastbourne 1-0 in the first week of the season, Darts have lost twice and drawn once in front of their home crowd.

Manager Tony Burman said: "I’m pleased with the way we’ve conducted ourselves but a little bit disappointed with the points we’ve got because we’ve been so close to having more.

"Supporters have seen in the other games at home that there’s effort and endeavour and some good football being played.

"We’d like to reward them and get a win – but without putting too much pressure on anyone."

Weston lost their first five games and looked set for a pasting at Ebbsfleet last month until floodlight failure saved them at 2-0 down.

But after holding leaders Bath to a draw, they won at Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday.

Burman said: "It’s a test in a different sort of way. People will look at the league and see that (they are bottom) but they’ve had a couple of results.

"We know they’re a good footballing side and want to pass the ball around - Weston etams have always done that."

Lee Burns and Barry Cogan could return after injury and Lee Noble has recovered from a chest infection, although winger Jack Simmons is struggling with a swollen ankle.
