There could be some late business done by Dartford before the January transfer window shuts on Friday.

Darts boss Tony Burman has been chasing permanent signings all month and his phone is likely to be busy for the next two days.

He said: "I am trying to do some more business. I’d like to bring in one or two players on contract or (players) who will be with us until the end of the season.

"We find that difficult but there are still one or two players I’d like to come.

"It’s been difficult for us to try to sign someone, or to take someone away from another club, who’s not under contract.

"The players we’d like are under contract with teams. They say to us ‘make an offer’ and we can make offers but it’s not the way I want to do things.

"We’ve got four players (on loan) and we can loan people after the deadline. But I’d like to bring some players in who I can say are our players."

Burman has two players on loan from each of the top two sides in the Skrill Premier.

Cambridge United pair Rory McAuley and Andy Pugh should both make their home debuts against Luton on Saturday, although Hatters duo Jim Stevenson and Alex Wall (pictured) are ineligible against their parent club.
