Former players Jamie Coyle and Adam Flanagan will take their place in the dugout at Princes Park next season.

Coyle and Flanagan both watched Dartford's play-off defeat to Braintree last weekend having recently left their management roles at Welling and Concord Rangers respectively.

Co-chairman Steve Irving said: "We are delighted to announce that after an intense few days of meetings and discussions with a large number of applicants and prospective candidates, we have appointed Adam Flanagan and Jamie Coyle as our new management team with immediate effect.

"As many of you will know, Adam (captain) and Jamie were members of our successful sides between 2007 and 2010, winning the Isthmian League championships of Division 1 North and the Premier Division, playing in 135 and 140 games respectively.

"After retiring from playing, Adam went on to manage Brentwood Town, gaining them promotion from the Isthmian League Division 1 North to the Premier Division. He then went on to manage Concord Rangers for three years, winning the Essex Senior Cup.

"Jamie has seen success as assistant manager at Leatherhead with promotion from Isthmian 1 South to Premier Division, as player/coach winning promotion with Maidstone United from Isthmian Premier Division to National League South and then via the play-offs into the National League. He spent last season as manager of Welling United.

"We would like to welcome both Adam and Jamie back to the club and wish them all the very best for the future here at Dartford FC."
