Welling boss Dean Frost has made three new signings on transfer deadline day.
The newly-installed Wings manager, who saw his team draw 1-1 at FC Halifax on Saturday, was keen to give his squad more balance. He has drafted in a winger, a centre-back and a striker.
Luke Wanadio joins having left Ryman League Staines Town, where he was reportedly attracting Football League attention earlier this season.
Welling boss Dean Frost. Picture Dave BuddenDagenham & Redbridge pair, centre-back Ian Gayle and striker Ade Yusuff, have also moved to Park View Road on loan deals until the end of the season.
On exciting winger Wanadio, Frost said: "It was important to try and bring in a permanent signing when doing our business today.
"He did well at the level he was at this season and hopefully he can step up and both create and score goals.
"League clubs that I am in touch with watched him but he has become available and I'm pleased to get him.
"He can play either side, it's important to have that flexibility in the squad."
Gayle, 23, was born in Welling and Frost's urgency to bring in a new defender was forced after injuries to Harry Osborne and Zach Fagan in the past week.
"He is aggressive and athletic, good in the air and a real no-nonsense centre-back," said Frost.
"I've had to act quickly but I've done my homework on him and it was important to bring him into the squad."
Former Chatham forward Yusuff, 21, will provide Welling with a much-needed target man.
He has fallen down the pecking order at League 2 Dagenham but Frost was keen to ease the burden on Sahr Kabba.
"He is very strong and can occupy two centre-backs," said Frost. "He gives us something different that we haven't got.
"Hopefully he'll score goals but he'll also be a target man for us and it will allow the wingers to get in the game more."
Frost confirmed that he has finished his transfer business for deadline day, although the club have released a number of players including Jake Green, Kurtis Cumberbatch and Afolabi Obafemi plus keepers Rob Gagliardi and Ali Aksoy.
