Welling boss Loui Fazakerley has admitted his team looked deflated during the defeat to Aldershot on Tuesday night.

The Wings remain rooted in the National League relegation zone without a win since the opening day of the campaign.

Honest Fazakerley was left fuming with his team's second-half showing in the 1-0 loss to an ordinary Aldershot outfit.

"One thing we've never done whatever the situation is roll over and give up," said Fazakerley.

"It looked like the boys were deflated out there. I don't want to see that ever again.

"The least we are going to be is together. We should stick together and fight to the end.

"We've let them know that it's not good enough."

It means Welling have now gone nine games without a victory but Fazakerley insisted he is still the right man for the job.

"We're one of the most positive management teams you can find," said Fazakerley.

"There's lots of positives to take (from games when we lose). We're going to work hard, figure out a plan and go again on Saturday.

"We're looking at bringing in one (on loan) and after that performance there's definitely changes that need to be made."
