Dartford will climb into the National League South play-off places if they can end their six-week wait for a home win on Saturday against Bath.

Since beating Havant & Waterlooville on December 5, the Darts have been held to 1-1 draws at Princes Park by both Margate and Chelmsford.

But their superb away form has kept them motoring and with none of the division’s top-five in league action this weekend, Dartford know they will move up two places to fourth if they can extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches.

Dartford boss Tony Burman: "The main thing is to get three points playing at home.

"We’ve been a little bit disappointed because we’ve only taken one point in each of our last two home games and we’re hoping to improve on that situation.

"We’ve got to open teams up better than we have done. We’ve got to use our imagination a little bit more in the final third and I know the players can do it.

"We have to take a bit of a gamble at home. We’ve got to make sure we play at a high tempo and I hope we can do that."

Dartford have come from behind in four of their last six home games, scoring late goals in three of those to salvage points.

Burman said: "It would take a little bit of pressure off if we scored first but it’s shown good character from the players.

"If we go a goal down, there’s a good chance of getting back into it and it’s nice to have that knowledge in the locker. Credit to the players for plugging away."

Dartford could welcome back Lee Noble and Lee Burns this weekend after injury while strikers Andy Pugh and Tom Bradbrook are now fully fit.

Burman also revealed that captain Elliot Bradbrook had been struggling with an ankle knock before Saturday’s postponed game at Hayes & Yeading but should be fine to face Bath.
