Dartford claimed their first league win since the end of August on Saturday.

Goals from Lee Noble and Jamie Philpot saw off Weston, who remain winless in National League South after 11 games.

After a quiet opening, the game came to life in the 12th minute when Weston's teenage keeper Liam Kingston was booked for catching the ball outside his penalty area.

Ben Greenhalgh curled the resulting free-kick against the crossbar but Darts were ahead on 14 minutes when Greenhalgh's cross from the left was headed in at the far post by Noble.

Weston hit the woodwork themselves on 20 minutes, a well-worked corner seeing the ball twice dummied at the near post before Gethin Hill rattled the crossbar.

Greenhalgh had his long-range effort beaten away by Kingston, while Amadou Ba fired wide.

But Weston were proving more of a threat going forward, despite not having a league win to their name this season.

Jake Lee's header from a far-post corner was kept out by Darts keeper Deren Ibrahim, and another set-piece corner saw Brad Ash unable to turn the ball in from close range.

The visitors did deservedly equalise in the second minute of first-half stoppage time when Hill let fly from more than 30 yards and keeper Ibrahim was unable to keep out his low drive which nestled in the bottom corner.

Weston hit the woodwork again on 64 minutes, George Nurse's 25-yard free-kick taking a touch off the defensive wall before coming back off the bar - Hill nodding the rebound well over.

Within two minutes, Darts were ahead. Weston had pushed out for offside from many free-kicks. But this time the flag stayed down and Elliot Bradbrook chested the ball down for Philpot to fire in.

Greenhalgh was twice denied inside a minute as Darts looked for a third goal while Weston's only late threat was a Hill free-kick that went over the target.
