The county's top long-distance runners descended on Brands Hatch on Saturday as the Kent Cross-Country Championships returned to the calendar - and photographer Barry Goodwin captured the action.

Cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic, 10 races were held with Tonbridge's Jamie Goodge winning the senior men's event and clubmate Lucy Reid the senior women's winner.

There were under-20 titles for Ashford's Jack Small and Dartford Harriers' Maisy Rose, and under-17 success for Jamie Kerr, of Invicta East Kent, and Blackheath & Bromley Harriers' Hannah Clark.

Under-15 wins went to Medway and Maidstone's Alex Dack and Crowborough Runners' Annabelle Souter, and Blackheath & Bromley's Lucas Elmqvist and Medway and Maidstone's Rose Crossley were the under-13 champions.
