Welling's FA Cup second-round tie against Carlisle United has been switched to Sunday, December 6 for television coverage.

The Park View Road clash between the Vanarama National League and League 2 sides will feature as one of eight matches on BBC's Final Score programme, earning the Wings £12,500 in TV cash.

They were however controversially the only non league team drawn at home to a Football League side at this stage of the competition not to be chosen for live TV coverage by the BBC or BT Sport, which would have given the club a £72,000 windfall.

Salford City were selected for live coverage for the second round running, as they prepare to welcome Hartlepool, while Grimsby's visit of Shrewsbury and Bury's derby with Rochdale were also picked.

The winners of the second round ties will collect £27,000 in prize money and a place in the third round draw when they could draw the likes of Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur.

Welling say tickets for the 2pm kick-off will be available in advance, with more details to follow in due course.

Maidstone United's visit of Yeovil earlier this month was among the first round games to be featured on Final Score, while last season the Stones and Dartford featured on Football Focus, while Dover and Maidstone were also screened live.
