Dartford will have another partisan home crowd to contend with this weekend.
Beaten 3-0 at Aldershot on a noisy Tuesday night in Hampshire, the Darts head north to tackle The Skrill Premier newboys FC Halifax Town on Saturday.
There was vociferous support for Halifax when Dartford travelled to Yorkshire in the FA Trophy last season. Darts won 3-2 in a replay after a 1-1 draw at The Shay and manager Tony Burman is prepared for more of the same.
He said: “We know what Halifax are like, we’ve been there and know it’s another tough game.
“They came up from the Conference North but they’re a decent side.
“We were fortunate last year in the FA Trophy, especially up there. I’m glad we’ve been there because we’ll know what to expect."
Burman must decide whether to persist with James Rogers at
left-back against Halifax, who beat Wrexham 3-2 in midweek, with Matt Fry (hamstring) and Tyrone Sterling (ankle) still out injured.
