Big crowd expected for Addicks relegation showdown

Charlton expect a season's best crowd for Saturday's Coca-Cola Championship relegation showdown against fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest at The Valley.

Buoyed by last week's FA Cup, third round beating of big-spending Manchester City, Forest fans have snapped up 2,300 of their 3,000 ticket allocation which is expected to sell-out in advance of the match.

The match also marks the first in charge for newly appointed Forest manager Billy Davies.

Defender Graeme Murty, signed this week on a month's loan from Reading, is expected to make his Charlton debut.

Forest are one position above the relegation zone and three places and five points above the Addicks.

Seats, which are on general sale, are priced at £15 adults, £15 over 60s and under-21s and £10 under 18s.

Chalton supporters can book on the £6 a head Valley Express coach service which picks up from more than 70 pick-up points.
