Dartford's FA Cup run was ended by a strong Bradford City side on Sunday.
The League 1 outfit bossed the second-round tie for long periods at Valley Parade and they led 2-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Billy Clarke and Jon Stead.
Quickfire strikes from Filipe Morais and Mark Yeates after the interval piled on more misery for Tony Burman's men, who did at least pull one goal back through Lee Noble.
The visitors were backed by almost 500 travelling supporters, who barely stopped singing all afternoon.
Bradford manager Phil Parkinson had scouted Dartford twice in the build-up to this game and the arrival of the team sheet showed just how seriously the Bantams boss was taking the Conference side.
There were just two changes to the City XI which had started against Leyton Orient in the league eight days earlier. With on-loan Sunderland keeper Jordan Pickford ineligible, Ben Williams made only his fourth start of the season, while Morais returned from a shoulder injury to take Andy Halliday's place in midfield.
Dartford's line-up bore three changes from the midweek defeat at Eastleigh. Rory McAuley returned after suspension and there were also recalls for Noble and Danny Harris. Dropping to the bench were Tom Bender and Luke Daley, while Callum Driver wasn't involved at all.
Injured duo Lee Burns and Harry Crawford missed out through injury and the visitors named only six of a possible substitutes.
The first half could not have been much more one-sided.
After Harris had stabbed an early effort wide for Dartford, the home side poured forward relentlessly towards Jason Brown's goal.
Mat Mitchel-King threw himself in front of a goalbound shot from Clarke but the visitors fell behind moments later. Stead turned the ball across goal and after an almighty scramble in the six-yard box, Clarke slammed in the opener from a yard out.
Clarke might have had four goals inside the first 20 minutes.
He crashed two shots wide and then volleyed just over from Morais' inviting right-wing cross.
Bradford were toying with their visitors. Ryan Hayes lost possession on the edge of his own box and was almost punished when Stead's shot was charged down. Elliot Bradbrook, playing at centre-half, threw himself in the way of another Stead effort and then hooked a volley wide after Morais had raided down the Bradford right yet again.
Morais tried his luck from the edge of the box moments later, blasting a piledriver narrowly wide.
The pressure had to tell, and sure enough, the Bantams doubled their lead after half an hour. Yeates pulled the ball back from the left and Stead obliged with a neat finish at the near post.
Brown saved from Stead and Clarke as the onslaught continued. Another brave Bradbrook block denied Billy Knott and Peter Sweeney then cleared an Andrew Davies header off the line.
Dartford carried almost no attacking threat in the first half, with Tom Bradbrook isolated up front. The visitors did put together a decent move in stoppage-time when Sweeney's through-ball sent left-back Nathan Collier racing to the byline, but his cutback came to nothing.
It should have been 3-0 within a minute of the restart. Knott won possession on the right-hand edge of the Darts box and squared for Clarke, who shot wastefully wide.
But then the Darts conceded twice in a minute.
Morais smashed home a wonderful 25-yarder for the third Bantams goal before Clarke set up Yeates for a shot which curled across Brown and into the far corner.
Dejection among the travelling support turned to joy on 64 minutes though, when McAuley burst down the right and crossed low for Noble, whose clever back-heel deceived Williams and crept into the far corner.
Noble almost pulled another one back when his powerful strike from the edge of the box was turned round the post by Williams.
But the game was long won by that stage and Bradford were comfortable in the closing stages.
