Dartford have hit rock-bottom but manager Tony Burman has vowed to stay strong and end their disastrous run of results.
Seven successive defeats and serious injuries have rocked the club in recent weeks. Players have been dropped and loan signings made but the Darts are in deep relegation trouble.
However, Burman is not shying away from the challenge of keeping them in non-league’s top flight.
He said: "You have to try to instil confidence in the players and, at the moment, it seems like I’m not. You’ve got to try to lift them all.
"At some stage, you’ll reach rock bottom, which I think we’ve probably done now.
"This football club has been a major part of my life, so to see the things that are happening at the moment, it’s disappointing.
"I have to accept the responsibility lies with me, which I do.
"I’m hoping I can stay strong, which I’m prepared to do because there are a lot of people who have backed me here and there are a lot of things still to be achieved."
