Dartford v Heybridge

A battle between the bottom two in the Ryman League, Premier Division takes place at Princes Park tonight.

Dartford sit second from bottom with just one win all season and they host a Heybridge Swifts side who have yet to win from their opening seven games.

Darts manager Tony Burman insists he’s not panicking yet but admits time is running out for his under-performing side.

“We said we would give everyone 10 to 12 games and we would know a lot more about the league then and that hasn’t changed for me,” he said.

“I felt we had a strong enough side but it’s not gone for us and we’ve got to do something about it. We have to start getting points on the board in the next few weeks.

“We’re not pressing the panic button just yet but at the same time we have to start getting some points and we’re looking at it very closely."

Ray Powell is back available after serving a three-game ban. Tommy Osborne is a doubt and Alex O’Brien is also struggling with injury. Adam Flanagan (back) missed Saturday’s game and Nick Barnes (ankle) was also out.
