Ashford (Middlesex)v Dartford

Dartford could have a new striker in time for Saturday’s trip to Ashford Town (Middlesex) in the Ryman League Premier Division.

One potential target turned manager Tony Burman down last week but two seven-day approaches could come to fruition by the time they face Ashford.

Burman said: “Our record away from home is better than at Princes Park so we’ll be confident.

"Ashford are a decent team and had a good result last weekend at Hornchurch.”

Burman has lost two key midfielders to injury.

Danny Dafter will be in plaster for four to six weeks after fracturing a bone in his ankle, while Ryan Hayes has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a hamstring injury.

Burman added: “That’s a major blow to lose those two. We’ve had a spell when we had a fully-fit squad for a while."
