Charlton remain unbeaten in the Championship but were pegged back by Rotherham on Saturday.
The Addicks led through Johann Gudmundsson's 27th-minute goal but Luciano Becchio came off the bench to head in an equaliser with 20 minutes left.
Rotherham had started brightly but Charlton soon warmed to the task with Gudmundsson cutting in from the wing and firing low past keeper Scott Loach with his left-foot shot.
Charlton had a series of opportunities to make it 2-0 before half-time but Franck Moussa and Tal Ben Haim were both denied by Loach while Rhoys Wiggins drove narrowly over the bar.
After the break Rotherham had a Jordan Bowery effort disallowed for offside but levelled when Becchio, a first-half substitute for Alex Revell, nodded in Ben Pringle's cross.
Charlton substitute Frederic Bulot went close late on but it was Rotherham who nearly snatched the points when Joe Skarz's header was turned behind by keeper Stephen Henderson.
