Charlton Athletic will host relegated QPR in their opening Championship fixture of the season on Saturday, August 8.
The London derby is followed by back-to-back away games in the Midlands, with the Addicks travelling to Derby on August 15 and Nottingham Forest on August 18.
Another relegated Premier League side, Hull City, visit the Valley on August 22, while Charlton complete the opening month at Wolves on August 29.
Guy Luzon's side go to League 1 champions Bristol City on Boxing Day, host Nottingham Forest in the new year game on January 2 and finish the campaign at home to Burnley on May 7.
