DARTFORD Harrier Grace Clements had a weekend to remember by winning a debut silver medal for Great Britain at a combined events international match in Sheffield.
The 23-year-old also broke personal bests in all five disciplines to finish on 4,237 points, second only to reigning champion Denisa Scverbova of the Czech Republic (4,632).
Clements, who is a Cambridge University graduate but still competes in the Dartford Harrires colours, ran 8.77sec (beating her previous best of 8.93) in the 60m hurdles, recorded 1.78m (1.64m) in the high jump and 5.87m (5.77) in the long jump, threw 12.59m (12.52) in the shot and 2:21.03 in the 800m (2:18.92).
The result, which lifted her from 37th to seventh in the UK all-time senior women listings, helped the GB women’s team to third overall.
