THE champions of Kent’s golf clubs will congregate at Dartford Golf Club on Sunday to compete for the Watson Trophy.

The medal competition was established by the late Reg Watson, a former Dartford captain, back in 1986.

A total of 33 clubs from the county contested the first event and it has grown every year. This year, 48 champions will tee off.
