Thurrock v Welling
Welling midfielder Sonny Cobbs wants his team-mates to maintain their unbeaten record for as long as possible.
The Wings travel to Thurrock on Saturday after collecting two wins and a draw in their first three games, and Cobbs is keen to maintain their bright start.
“We need to keep building and picking up results,” he said. “The games are coming up thick and fast, we’ve got two games in three days over this weekend and hopefully we’ll get a result at Thurrock because that will builds confidence.
“We’re a young side but we can come up against anyone and get a result on our day. I’m not just saying that because I’m a player, I really believe it.
“We need to be pushing to keep ourselves in the top half and set ourselves a target of the play-offs. I don’t see why not because you need to set your sights high. Anything is possible with his squad, if we stick together and keep pushing then we’ll be there."
Welling boss Andy Ford is likely to name an unchanged line-up although Dorian Smith is pressing for a starting berth after some excellent displays from the bench.
Orlando Smith is still ruled out through a knee injury.
