Dartford are back in the National League South play-off places after coming from behind to win 3-1 at promotion rivals Gosport Borough on Tuesday night.

Two goals from Elliot Bradbrook and one from Andy Pugh turned the game around after Dan Wooden had given fourth-placed Gosport an early lead.

Darts boss Tony Burman was full of praise for his players.

He said: "It was a good performance in the first half although we were 1-0 down. We didn’t quite get the goal we wanted to get but we had two penalty shouts in the first half that looked like blatant penalties.

"We had a chat at half-time and I felt some of our play was very good in the first half - we just had to get back into it and get the goals, which we did in the second half.

"When the players have gone a goal down, for most of this season, they’ve had that desire to get back in the game. That doesn’t come easy, it’s to do with the belief in the squad.

"We were close to coming in level terms at half-time but the second half performance, we just went up a gear. It was excellent to get the goal and to go on and win the game."

Dartford, who are now two points behind Gosport with two games in hand, welcome Concord Rangers to Princes Park on Saturday.
