An 89th-minute goal hit Dartford's survival hopes as they lost 1-0 at home to Alfreton - the team sitting just outside the drop zone.

Dartford went into the game eight points behind their opponents and hoped to reduce that to five, with a game in hand.

However, Tom Shaw's late strike past Deren Ibrahim earned Alfreton their third-straight win and means Darts are now 11 points from safety with just 10 games of the season to play.

Whites had the better chances in the game with Elliot Bradbrook firing wide, while Andy Pugh was denied by Alfreton keeper Jason Mooney on numerous occasions.
