Dartford remain in the Vanarama Conference drop-zone after a 2-1 defeat at Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.
Rovers defender Eddie Oshodi scored at both ends as Rovers ended a run of five games without a win, though it condemned Tony Burman’s side to a fourth straight away defeat and third in seven days overall, leaving them three points from safety.
It took just five minutes for centre-back Oshodi to head the opener past Darts keeper Jason Brown from a corner from Rob Sinclair.
Brown made a smart stop to keep out a Lee Hughes head from a cross from Elliott Frear soon after, but Darts did come into the game and skipper Elliot Bradbrook (pictured) hit the bar with a header from a Lee Noble corner four minutes before the break.
After the break Danny Harris saw a near-post effort saved by Sam Russell in the Rovers goal but the game looked up 20 minutes from time when James Norwood fired a second for Ady Pennock's side after Sinclair had beaten Tom Bender and sent in a low cross.
Bender curled wide from distance at the other end but an own-goal from Oshodi eight minute from time, deflecting a Mat Mitchell-King effort into the corner with his head with no defender on the post, gave the visitors hope but they could not find a leveler and have now won just once in 11 games in Vanarama Conference.
