Dartford v Hastings
Dartford manager Tony Burman is confident his side’s fortunes will change after starting the season with two defeats and no goals.
Burman’s side host Hastings this Saturday and he is looking to get their season up and running.
“I’ve got to stay focused and patient and believe, and so have the players,” said Burman.
“It’s difficult, especially when you’ve had the chances and they haven’t gone in. I’m sure they will start to go in and we’ll have the luck, and be wondering what the problem was.
“The belief will be there and hopefully it works for us on Saturday. Tuesday’s performance has given us some heart. The players worked hard and showed a lot more promise.”
“I’m disappointed about Tuesday’s result but not the performance. The lads have had a go and given what I wanted from them and on another night, if we had of taken the lead, it would have put a bit of pressure on them and they would have had to come out and attack us more.”
