Tony Burman: "Things are looking a lot better and healthier"

Billericay v Dartford

Dartford are going for three in a row this Saturday when they make the trip into Essex.

Before last weekend’s FA Cup defeat to Hampton & Richmond, the Darts had won their last two Ryman League Premier Division games.

Billericay stand in Dartford’s way this Saturday and, despite the club’s upturn in league form, manager Tony Burman isn’t getting carried away.

“We could do with a few more wins to get the run going,” he said.

“We had been threatening to win games before but it just didn’t go right. We’ve won our last two in the league now and things are looking a lot better and healthier.

“We’re not out of the woods and there is still a long way to go."

Richard Ketchell (ankle) remains sidelined as does captain Alex O’Brien (tendonitis) but he has now returned to light training.

Steve Norman is expected to make his last substitute appearance before undergoing a hernia operation on Monday. That will rule him out for around six weeks.
