It's been another week of frustration for Dartford manager Tony Burman in the transfer market.
Burman has spent weeks trying to sign a new striker but all his efforts have found dead ends so far.
Only one team in the Vanarama Conference – Nuneaton – have scored fewer goals than the Darts this season, who have found the net just 28 times in 29 outings.
Burman said: "I was hoping that I could have had someone in for Tuesday’s game but that wasn’t to be.
"The lad on the seven-day approach can’t leave the club he’s at through sponsorship agreements and things like that.
"I’ve had a lot of fingers in pies but I can’t make people come. Whether they’re looking at the position we’re in and don’t fancy it, I don’t know.
"But there’s players who are injured at this moment who I’d like but I can’t have because they’re injured – and that’s just circumstances, it just happens.
"I’ve been looking at things for a while. I have tried to get the players in and at the moment it hasn’t come off."
