Dartford were denied a crucial win in Vanarama Conference on Saturday, thanks in large part to the contribution of a Gills loanee.
Struggling Darts had to settle for a point after being pegged back in the final half-hour at Aldershot and slipped to second-bottom.
Darts had taken the lead when skipper Elliot Bradbrook headed home a corner from Nathan Green just 18 minutes in at the Electrical Services Stadium.
The visitors led at the break after a free-kick from Shots man Jordan Roberts rattled their bar in the first half, however the pressure continued to grow on Tony Burman’s defence after the interval.
Gills man Antonio German inspired the comeback after being handed his debut off the bench shortly before the hour mark, just a day after joining the Shots on loan.
Within three minutes of being introduced into the action German piled forward and played in Tristan Plummer, who had come off the bench at the same time, who cut inside from the left and fired in a shot which took a deflection on its way past Jason Brown.
The point made it three games unbeaten since mid-January and left Darts five points from safety, albeit with two games in hand on Welling, who are the place above the drop-zone.
