KENT'S Barry Hawkins faced a nail-biting wait before booking his place in the last 16 of snooker's Royal London Watches Grand Prix.
Hawkins, from Dartford, could only sit and watch as seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry went up against Paul Davies, in his final round-robin group match.
Hendry needed to beat the Welshman, who was already out of contention, to book his place in the last 16.
But he suffered a 4-3 defeat and as a result, Hawkins will now play Peter Ebdon.
