Isthmian League round-up: Dartford knocked off Isthmian Premier summit after first defeat in 22 games while South East leaders Ramsgate move nine points clear

Dartford lost top spot in the Isthmian Premier after seeing their 21-match unbeaten run ended at Cheshunt.

Ady Pennock’s side went down 3-0 and have slipped to second, two points behind new leaders Billericay.

The Kent derby between Dover and Chatham was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Ramsgate moved nine points clear at the top of Isthmian East after coming from behind to beat East Grinstead at Southwood.

Trailing at the break to a Connor Tighe strike, Josh Ajayi levelled just after the restart and defender Jay Leader completed a 2-1 victory midway through the second half.

Ben Smith’s men strengthened their grip on top spot after second-placed Sittingbourne’s Kent derby at Hythe was postponed.

Fourth-placed Margate were 3-2 winners at home to a Sheppey side whose play-off hopes suffered a blow with a fifth successive defeat.

Harvey Brand’s opener on the half-hour gave Gate the lead but Gil Carvalho equalised two minutes into the second half.
