Guy Luzon lavished praised on his Charlton team for their impressive second-half display against Reading on Saturday that saw them emerge 3-2 winners.
The Addicks went into half time a goal down through a Pavel Pogrebnayk strike but came out firing in the second half.
Yoni Buyens netted twice and Simon Church rounded off the scoring before Pogrebnayk gave Reading a glimmer of hope in added time with his second but it wasn’t enough to change the result.
Luzon said: “The second half was brilliant because we played great football and we scored three goals and we could have scored another three or four.
“We started the game very well. The first 20 or 25 minutes we moved the ball well.
“I told them at half time we need to move the ball like we started the game and be efficient and to concentrate on the last pass.
“For me it is not important only to win but the way that we play and we need to enjoy the game with a smile on our face. If we continue to play like this we will win and also more fans of Charlton will come to the game."
Charlton did lose right-back Chris Solly in the warm-up. Joe Gomez slotted and Alou Diarra filled in at centre-back.
Luzon said: “Chris Solly felt his ankle a little bit in the last game against Blackpool and Gomez went wide and Alou (Diarra) played well.
“We are a team and our result doesn’t depend on X player or Y player. We are a team and we are united.”
