Marcus Dinanga’s impressive start to life in a Dartford shirt has been recognised by the National League.
Dinanga has been named National League South player-of-the-month for February after a quick impact in three starts and one substitute outing last month.
The on-loan Altrincham forward enjoyed an excellent debut against Ebbsfleet on February 1 and followed it up with a brace against Welling to cap a 4-2 derby win.
He also netted a stoppage-time penalty against Bath in a 2-0 home success after coming off the bench.
Dinanga carried that form on last weekend when he netted a stunning goal to help Dartford beat leaders Dorking Wanderers at Prince Park, albeit he later came off with a hamstring injury.
Dartford boss Steve King said: “I think he’s fitted in nicely. He hasn’t had loads of chances but every chance he gets he seems to put in the back of the net.
“You can see the class in the finishes, he’s got four goals in five games and the one on Saturday was outstanding.”
The division's managerial award for February was given to Braintree's Ryan Maxwell.
