Dartford’s FA Cup goalscorer Lee Noble took issue with the BBC TV director after watching the highlights from Valley Parade.
The midfielder was captured on camera backheeling Rory McAuley’s low cross into the Bradford net after Tom Bradbrook’s pass had sent McAuley racing down the right wing.
But Noble said: "The best thing about the goal was the move and where it came from – our own corner flag – but that wasn’t shown on the telly.
"The ball in was a little bit behind me. I tried to make a run in front of the defender but I realised I wasn’t going to get there. The ball just missed his foot and I managed to get a flick on it. It’s the sort of thing I do in training.
"I was praying for it to go in. I’ve always wanted an FA Cup goal and now I’ve got one."
Noble and his fellow midfielders were chasing shadows for much of the afternoon against a slick Bantams outfit.
City are 59 places above the Darts in football’s pyramid – and it showed on Sunday.
Noble said: "It was a difficult game. Bradford are a good team to play against. They kept the ball well, especially when they went 2-0 up. It was hard to get the ball off them.
"Personally, I got too much ahead of myself. Tony (Burman) was shouting at me, telling me to stop trying to win the ball back but at every opportunity I was pushing myself into players.
"I wanted to do well for the team but know sometimes that I’ve got to relax."
