Topsy Ojo scored two tries on his official international rugby union debut for England on Saturday.
But it was in a losing cause as New Zealand ran out 37-20 winners in Saturday's first Test in Auckland.
The former pupil of Dartford Grammar School, who plys his trade for London Irish in the Guinness Premiership, scored at the end of either half.
Ojo ran 80 metres in just over 11 seconds for his first try after a great interception before scoring what proved little more than a consolation with around 10 minutes left.
His performance was one of few highlights for the visitors to take as England made too many mistakes to make the game a contest.
England play a second Test against New Zealand in Christchurch on June 21.
