Charlton 1 Wolves 3
Charlton manager Alan Pardew criticised what he described as his team's unacceptable response after throwing away an early lead against unbeaten leaders Wolves at The Valley.
While the Addicks boss hotly disputed the controversial penalty that drew Wolves level, he added: "The biggest disappointment for me was our reaction to the goal.
"Once Wolves equalised, they looked the better side. I felt uncomfortable in that final 20 minutes when he didn't puff our chests out at home and have a go.
"After they scored it looked as though there was only going to be one winner.
"It was a disappointing end to the game and all the players will be in on Sunday to sort things out on the training ground.
"We have got a lot of learning to do if we're going to be as good as Wolves. But these are early days and there is still a long way to go."
Nicky Bailey's spectacular 35-yard strike put the Addicks ahead after four minutes before they fell to two late goals.
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake levelled things from the penalty spot on the hour after Bailey was harshly penalised for a challenge on Andy Keough.
Substitute Sam Vokes then scored for the visitors after 80 and 86 minutes to shatter Charlton's unbeaten home record.
