QPR v Charlton
Charlton caretaker manager Phil Parkinson takes charge of his first game against QPR on Tuesday underlining the seriousness of the club's position.
The Addicks dropped into the Championship relegation zone following a 5-2 home defeat to Sheffield United last Saturday.
The defeat also signalled the end of Alan Pardew's two-year spell as manager, and Parkinson has been given the task of reviving the Addicks' fortunes against QPR.
"I'm looking forward to it,” he said. "I'm sad for Alan and what's happened, but I'm prepared to take on the responsibility of turning this round and I think it's important we all understand the seriousness of the position we're in.
"I'm not looking any further than Tuesday night's game and making sure I prepare this team to get a reaction and a result.
"I've been asked to take charge on a short-term basis and I'll be looking for an improvement.
"We need to find a balance between the players, who I think we have more to come from.
"It's my job in the short-term to make sure I find that extra little bit more from the players."
Parkinson has added reserve team manager Mark Kinsella and head scout Phil Chapple to his first team coaching set-up ahead of the game.
Northern Ireland international winger Keith Gillespie, who joined the Addicks on loan on Monday, could go straight into the side. There are no fresh injury problems going into the game.
