Hastings United v Dartford
Dartford are back on the road again this weekend in the Ryman League, Premier Division.
The Darts’ last four league games have been away from home and they face a trip to Hastings United on Saturday.
Manager Tony Burman says the club are hurting financially because of their current shortage of home games.
“It’s hurting us and there’s no point denying it,” said Burman. “It’s a struggle to make ends meet at the moment with no revenue coming in from home matches."
But Dartford’s excellent form on the road in December means that Burman at least has few concerns about what might happen on the pitch.
Wins at Carshalton, Canvey and Ramsgate, plus a spirited display in a 4-2 defeat at runaway leaders Dover, have left the Darts in eighth place with a play-off place an achievable target.
Burman said: “We always said that if we could string some good results together, we could get into the frame."
Midfielder Lee Noble and striker Cody McDonald are both ruled out through suspension on Saturday.
“Apart from the two players who are suspended, I have got a full squad available," said Burman.
