Dartford v Wealdstone
Dartford's squad will be fully tested on Saturday when suspensions kick in for their Ryman League Premier Division match at home to Wealdstone.
Manager Tony Burman will be without Alex O’Brien, Ray Powell and John Guest who are all suspended. Also unavailable will be striker Brendon Cass.
Burman said: “We’ve got a problem that we could do without but we can cope.
“We can bring players in from the youths. They might not have thought they would get a chance this early in the season.”
O’Brien and Powell miss the next three games, following their pre-season sendings-off against Bromley, while John Guest serves a one-match ban for his dismissal on the opening day of the season.
Cass, who has hit 30 goals for the Darts in the last two seasons, was left on the bench at Harlow as Rob Haworth started instead and Burman insists he isn’t afraid to make changes where necessary.
“I’ve said to the players we’ve got a good squad and we need to use the squad,” said Burman.
“Unfortunately we hadn’t scored and hadn’t won and after the report we got in on Harlow we changed clientèle and it could have back-fired on us.
“We have to pick the team which we think is right and on Monday that happened for us.”
