Welling v Whyteleafe
Welling winger Ellis Green returns from suspension looking to help end a six-game winless run.
The Wings have hit a sticky patch after a bright start to the campaign but have the distractions of a FA Cup second qualifying round tie on Saturday afternoon.
“It’s important to get back to winning ways,” said Green. “On paper, we should go out there and get the win but obviously it’s the FA Cup and anything could happen.
“The attitude needs to be right, we are going to go into the game prepared and cant take it lightly.
“There is money at stake and the further you go in the competition you never know what can happen. Havant ended up playing at Liverpool last year and we’d love something like that. What you’ve got to do is just keep winning.
"I’ve never played in the first round of the FA Cup. I’ve never been involved in that before and I’d love to get there – hopefully this can be the year. "
Whyteleafe play two divisions below the Wings in Ryman League Division 1 South and have found decent form in recent weeks after a slow start to the season.
Welling could also welcome back defender Tony Sinclair and forward Charlie Sheringham from injury.
Meanwhile, winger Seb Schoburgh has left to join Maidstone and back-up keeper Scott Andrews has also departed in search of first-team football.
