Dartford’s young players have been told to step up during what could be a breakthrough season for them.
Ronnie Vint, Ebou Adams and Kaka Dembele have been put on contracts by manager Tony Burman, who believes all three are ready to play National League South football after loan spells at lower-league clubs in 2014-15.
He said: "That’s why I signed them. They’re very much in my plans and been told to go away over the summer and work on some things.
"They’ll be involved and it’s up to them to what extent. They’ve done well at their respective clubs and deserve their chance.
"They’ll definitely be involved with the squad and there are first-team places up for grabs.
"They’re more ready than they were last year. We sent them out to lower-league clubs to get a little bit of experience and they trained with us all season.
"They’ve got to step up now. They’ve been asked to go away and do things and I hope they come back challenging for a place in the first team."
