Josephine McCartney, chief executive of Kent Community Foundation said: “We are delighted to announce the latest projects who have been successful in their application to receive funding from us in the first quarter of 2017."
She added: “Each year we support hundreds of local charities and worthwhile causes.
“We particularly look to support projects which meet our priority themes and especially try and help those smaller organisations that struggle to access funding. “For many of these organisations, a small amount of funding can go a very long way and it is making a real difference to local people in need.”
Kent Community Foundation makes regular donations to Kent charities and details of the types of funding available and how to apply can be found at www.kentcf.org.uk.
It also welcomes contact from organisations, existing trusts and individuals on how it can help to manage and distribute funds on their behalf.
